Anand Murali's workflow for creating the lunar mosaic and mineral Moon image using the Seestar S50

    1. Capture the Moon using 2x zoom in RAW format. I divided the Moon into two halves and recorded each half separately for about 1 to 2 minutes to avoid field rotation issues

    2. After capturing, I stacked each half using AutoStakkert to improve detail and reduce noise. This gave me two high quality stacked images

    3. I then combined the two halves in Photoshop to form a full Moon mosaic

    4. For processing, I first applied auto color to bring out natural color information. Since the image was captured at higher zoom, there was some color noise present. I used color noise reduction to clean the image while preserving the real color data

    5. I gradually increased vibrance and saturation to reveal the mineral composition of the lunar surface. Finally, I made adjustments to contrast, whites, blacks, and shadows to enhance depth and visibility

    6. For the final look, I slightly reduced clarity and texture to achieve a smoother and more natural appearance while keeping the important surface details intact

This method helped me create a clean and detailed mineral Moon mosaic using the Seestar S50
